New snow on Sept 16

We've had 42 cm of new snow overnight and today, with deeper pockets of snow higher on the mountain.

Strong W/NW winds at ridgeline have created massive cornices, with sizable pockets of windblown powder in protected spots below ridgeline. Further down, winds have only been moderate, so the snow conditions are pristine.

All tows are now operational and all terrain in the Main Basin will be open from 9am tomorrow (Sept 17th). Allan's Basin will be on hold tomorrow morning, pending control work.

We are absolutely psyched and can't wait to share some turns with you up here tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there. Huey has prevailed!! He's taken his good sweet time about it though. All is forgiven.

Can't wait to feel deep snow under the planks - it's been while.
